Our back 4 has gone from being a complete basket case a few weeks back - remember Hartlepool at home? - to something approaching solid. However Elphick has gone from looking the strongest link to the weakest, especially as Virgo has improved in the last few weeks. Leave the back 4 alone - it's the midfield and up front we need to get right now.

Let's set the record straight here;

Virgo has improved greatly over the past couple of games, excepting the freebie that he gave Milwall.

Elf-dick is not improving and his defensive errors and poor marking are proving costly.

Painter is a good signing and is improving every game.

Calderon is also a good signing; he does however get caught out of position due to his eagerness to get forward.

If Elf-dick can regain the form that we know he had/has, the back four should be fine.

Get Kuipers to come off of his line once in a while and bingo, we have a defense again.
