which players do you feel come across as really nice down to earth people

now he may not be down to earth in the height stakes but peter crouch always comes across as a cool guy! even when he couldnt score he would laugh about it and always comes across well in interviews.

anyone else?

joking aside he think he actually does come accross as a nice bloke, quite intelligent too and always completely shows up motson in the england matches. :bowdown:

Good shout Richie, he is indeed. I've interviewed Matt Holland, it was actually supposed to be another Charlton player who ran away in his Hummer from the training ground - and as captain Holland stepped into the breach so as not to let people down. A concept quite alien to most players.

Not sure about players but CKR's parents are both very friendly people who certainly seem to care about the how the team do as a whole - as well as looking out for their son!
