But as i stated before surely it's better to be only 3 points behind than 6? as the further you are behind the harder it is to catch up?

I am not certain that at this stage of the season it is better to be just 3 point behind 1 team and a load behind the next or to be just 6 popints behinda couple.

If we are 3pts behind one team if they do as we do they will stay above us, there is more chance of one of two falling by the wayside, I think, especially when the teams at the bottom have still to play each other.
