Not really. NSC has always been a breeding ground for lefties and it is definately a left wing forum so to get a Blue result is remarkable.
Thats not true, theyve just tended to be more vocal.

The question from Bushy was about ministers over the last 12 years who had a public school education , Prescott failed the 11+ and went to a secondary school.
ah,so it has to be eton to count does it ? Leave off mate, there are enough privately educated people in the present cabinet for them to leave the class issue well alone, let alone ministers who have served over the preceeding 12 years, and that's not counting the utter hypocrites like harman , diane abbott et al who have chosen to educate their own children privately.
Conservative I think, but may swing to LibDem.
the sheer audacity of the last sentence from someone who supports the party that took cronyism to previously unheard of heights is utterly astounding.Point taken.
Are you seriously suggesting that going to Brentwood School (apologies, it wasn't Brentford as per earlier post) is equivalent to going to Eton. Also, the problem is the number of people in the shadow cabinet who went to the same school. I take it you have no problem with the 'Old School Tie' network getting the top jobs rather than on their ability.
tories? BWAAHAHAHAHA!
I'd vote for a chimp, before I'd vote for that cameron tosser
16 for the BNP so far, blimey if we had PR in this country that would give em at least five MPs in the house of thieves, PR bring it on.
Based on the fact it's a poll on NSC chat and the moderators allow it to be a refuge for the clinically insane I doubt that very very much.
As of 22.00 the left of centre parties, Labour Libdems and Greens total 119
The selfish ignorant right of centre parties total 107
There is hope for this country yet!
Naturally with UKIP.

Thank god they are still in a minority
how many shadow ministers , out of a cabinet of 32 went to eton ? and who are they ?Explain?
Are you suggesting that Tony Blair appointed only his friends to ministerial posts. If that is the case then why were there two factions, the Blairites and Browns crew. Did all the Blairites go to the same school as him? If you are a PM, you are going to try and appoint people who share most of your views. As for Brown, how many ex ministers have stabbed him in the back, eg Blears.
They are all playing a political power game but there is a difference when you select people because they went to the same elite school as yourself.
Don't think Nick or Dave would be happy about that. Especially when its mainly ex Labour voters that vote BNP
i'll ask you then , since you brought it up, how many eton educated "toffs" are there in the 32 person shadow cabinet ?In some respects it doesn't really matter what private school politicians went to.
Doesn't the Labour Party now have more Barristers than the Tories and and this total is also more than being Trade Union members.
We do have an establishment in this country of families doing the rounds of Eton, or Roedean, Oxford, Cambridge etc.
As a nation we either have to try to break this clique up, as they attempted to in Sweden with the election of the Social Democrats or, you accept it and I suggest the the more British approach and invest in public education, so inner city schools are as good as middle England schools. And these schools are as good as the private system.
We need smaller school classes and better and more teachers, it can be done if we want it.
