Lucas may well have won - good luck to her - but the bigger story is that hundreds, maybe thousands, of voters have been turned away from polling stations up an down the land after being denied the right to vote is a disgrace. One polling station, according to the BBC, ran out of ballot papers. A total shambles. Shame on our system.
