Just watched it on iPlayer, which is great in itself. All in all a very good, lengthy and non-patronising effort I reckon, put together by people who seemed to know a lot about the lower divisions.

Disliked: the gay bald guy acting the clown (for once not Ian Holloway). Irritating.
Liked: The cute little blonde with the emails whose POKIES were most enjoyable.

don't like the bald bloke doing the interviews , seemed a bit camp which doesnt really sit well on a football show...personal opinion , no need to get into a whole debate again ! (same as the women commentator in that respect)

Surprised there wasn't a poll to establish what percentage of the MOTD budget was spent on the football league show. 0-2%, 3-5% and 5-10%. At least they don't show the score of the game before giving the highlights like those idiots at ITV used to do.

they need to sort out the acoustics too, sound like they where in a large garage or something. its was ok, but you get the feeling a new team of probably quite young people involved as there was an air of work in progress about it all.

You get a feeling that's wrong then. The programme is made by IMG who, like everyone else in TV, draw on a relatively small pool of people that work across all sorts of channels' sports coverage - the majority of them experienced with a variety of broadcasters.

It's pretty much normal that a new show takes a few weeks to settle down and various ideas are tried and binned before everyone feels comfortable with it. Understandably, people always draw comparisons with existing successful shows - but they've had years to bed down.

Agree about the sound though, and that will be difficult if not impossible to sort out without using a different studio.
