FFS, why do people have to jump infront of f***ing trains?

At Piccadilly tube last year, over the tannoy (this is the God's honest truth)

"We are sorry for the delay to this service. This is due to a man jumping on the track and being hit by a train"

Do you really think that a person who is about to jump under a train would be thinking that logically?

Given that some of them take the time to actually smile and wave at the driver as they put themselves in front of the train I would'nt like to guess what they're thinking.

Just a thought, but suicidal people do not tend to be sound of mind, shirley?

Some of the people who witness these suicides are never of a sound mind again afterwards either i'm afraid BoF. People like school kids who are waiting for a train home and end up covered in blood and body parts, And what does it do to a driver when he gets his cab window smashed by someone's head? These are the sort of things that happen during theses suicides and people have to live with it for the rest of they're lives.
