There was only room in my heart for ELO at that time but looking back there was some fine stuff around and it was not until many years later that I revisted and started to appreciate it more. certainly better than the dross that followed from 1983 onwards. IMO like

Yup, I was there. It must have been about 1979.

If my memory is right The Specials, Selecter and The Beat were all on the same bill.

Is that the sally benny hall ..if so I was there ...1979/80?....after a game at the soldstone, 0-0 vs Southampton I think

I think it was probably either late '78 or early summer '79. The Lambrettas were supporting and yes, there were hordes of scarey looking skins. I can remember one of the them asking where we were from and when we replied Lewes, he told us that he'd been to court there. :D
