theres a good new board game in the old gadget type shop by rounder records, some nice chess boards, different scrabble versions, and some posh wooden games I havent seen before

WSU, just below the seagull.
when i was younger i remember a game called "wembley" involving a load of cards and a pair of dice. The game was played over 46 matches per season.

Thats about as much as i can recall.(If anyone else knows more then great!)

Nowadays Scrabble keeps me happy.

Risk 2210. They took a great game and made it better!

For those that haven't seen it as you can't get it in the UK, have a look on e-bay. There are US retailers selling it on there and it can be obtained pretty cheaply at the moment with the exchange rate so good against the dollar.

There's also Risk Godstorm which is another variation but not as good IMHO.

Used to play Risk when I was younger but forgot just how good it was until I bought it for my 9 year old boy this Xmas. Now me and him are both hooked and haven't stopped playing it yet.
Totopoly was great...............if you could find a table big enough to play it on.
Special mention also for a game called Hotel. A bit like Monopoly, but a lot more fun!!
:)

Wasn't that the one where you flew round the world and got different currency ?

If so we used to argue like mad over it as kids.

This is worth holding on to...

It's not being produced any more due to the license being picked up by a studio who want to make it into a film.

My version is brand new, never played (only by myself versus myself) and has wooden pieces ie. quality rarely seen these days.

Would never sell it though.
