Completely agree. He's doing very well at the moment, but there will come a point where he has a bad run and it's important that there isn't too much pressure on him.

Being new on the scene, defenders don't have much footage or data on him, but that will change. It's important for us to have Welbeck and Ferguson interchangeable.

Exactly what I think. It’s a perfect combination so that we aren’t over reliant on either. It manages minutes for both. Ferguson, so he doesn’t have too much pressure put on his shoulders, and Welbeck due to his injury record.

Its such a good header from Ferguson, with power and precision on it. & it's the type of cross from Pervis that gives Evan time to think about the header and how it should be executed, rather than it just being fired at him so fast he barely has time to react. In that moment he has to calculate how to execute it, and does it perfectly.

I’d say Ferguson’s so good already that the wide men know they only need to put the ball in a good area for him to attack it. The timing of his run was superb.

I have to say as well as being unfeasibly excited about the pure footballing potential of this lad, I'm also finding his interviews to be delightfully charming! He comes across as a down to earth, level headed and likeable chap.

Fingers crossed he's on track to become the Brighton striker equivalent of Dunk (one club man, not teenage transgressions clearly!)
