Two huge opportunities from Minteh and Baleba... I'd not have taken a draw at the start and I'm disappointed now. But, in the scheme of things, it's a good point. We didn't lose, and had a lovely day out.

The next few games are HUGE! Villa, Palace and Brentford are in the mix for Europe... but the games that are frightening me and Leicester, West Ham and Wolves as I belive by the time we play them none of them will have anything to play for. Pressure off... that can work in different ways... playing in flip flops or playing without fear... I'm feeling quite nervous now... but, exciting times!!!

With Bournemouth result it’s massive, Forest are long gone,

Beat Villa and Europe is walking distance. Congrats to fab, we actually look like top 5 contenders.
Even if we don't beat Villa, they have a horrible run of PL games (us, United, Bournemouth, City away and Forest, Toon, Villa and Spurs at home), most likely another two FA Cup games at least and a double header against PSG to contend with. I reckon a point against them at our place would be fine.

Just 4 away games left.

And only one team in the top 13 of the ‘home’ table to play.

If we continue making the Amex a fortress, we could really be up for European football again!

Baleba is going to wake up with night sweats over that one he Ulloa'd into the Arndale Centre.

But I'd have taken a point all day long at City, so 100% a point gained. And well deserved. I just love how we don't shithouse our way to these results. Front foot football, taking the game to them, utterly FEARLESS. They make me feel really proud.

I voted two points dropped. But that is testament to how far we’ve come, and full of respect for the team/squad/club.
We should be beating teams like Citeh!!! Never thought I’d find myself typing that!

Before the game, there was a thread that asked whether you'd take a point before the game. I said if this was played 10 times, we'd take 11 or 12 points - so I'd accept a point but wouldn't have shaken on it before the game.

Curiouly, the resultant perfomance and xG of each team reflects exactly that. We had the better of a 2-2 draw. On the basis my "expected points" from this game was around 1.1 or 1.2, I suppose a draw is a reasonable return. We were the better side and missed some great chances to win it, but not so much that you could honestly say we clearly deserved to win. So I voted a point gained - just.

Agree about Bournemouth, thought Fulham invited us on for the last twenty minutes.
I agree, but with 20 to go our squad strength began to show, so they understandably looked to protect what they had.

We brought on Gomez, Adingra, Welbeck and Weiffer - all of whom made a tidy contribution. Fulham didn't have that level of talent on the bench at their disposal.
