Do you travel up or down

When I lived in Brighton it was no problem. Everyone went up to London and up to Scotland. There was no going 'down' as you'd be in the sea. , but come to think of it we did go down to Cornwall.

Now I live north of London people here go up to Scotland and also up to London, so that would make Herts the lowest point in England (actually not a bad concusion ).

I still insist its down to London from anywhere north

Yep you go down the West Country and down to Wales, surely its a contadiction to go up to Wales

If I lived in Plymouth, I wouldn't worry whether I was going up or down, I'd be getting OUT - thats the main thing.



I reckon I'd say I was going along to Brighton though....
