I used to think about him occasionally, especially when I heard about the Isle of Wight (although he was in the Navy with me)

I would say my marriage has been far better than him so no regrets.
We did exchange a few emails on a Forces reunited a couple of years ago (with Ned's full knowledge) just to find out what had happened over the years.
