Apart from the fact he's the wrong side of 30, he always looks out of breath and makes Tank look like Lindford Christie. What, exactly will he bring to the party?

We want BRIGHTON though! :)

Proven goal scorer at this level and still wanted but still wanted by Warnock though.

Yes we do.

He is the short term experienced ENGLISH journeyman striker we need.

Read MMs programme notes about the type of player he wants. Someone to boss the others around. He will get Kazim or Hart or whoever to do all his running for him.

shipps job at palace was to eat the pies and win and hold the ball up up front,
he done the two jobs very well plus scored many goal and can head a ball as good as anyone
do you think you realy have a striker at brighton at the moment anywhere near as good as shipps?

CKR is the only one. He can turn a game in a second and is the sort of player any team at this level wants. But shipperly is miles ahead of any of our other strikers.

Shipperly has been doing a good job for Sheff Utd so far this season. So yeah get him in.
As I said on another thread about this Brighton fella, sounds like a lot of money for yet another unproven player.

If i was mr Warnnock .. i would want shipps to be sent out on loan to a CCC team that he has played twice against and bearing in mind who else we have to play ,just so he can do his team a favour .. so please mr Warnnock lets have shipps..

And ps Mr shipps please come here on loan .. The ground is shit but Brighton is a lovely place to live !

Get him in ! and we fans can play our part and NOT slag him off if he does not score a hat trick on his debut.

When he played down here for Sheff Utd he won many headers, something which we struggle to do. CKRs first touch last night was a flick on that went back to the half way line for gods sake! He may be slow but he is strong and good in the air, get him in and play him alongside Hart, CKR or Robinson with Frutos and Carole on the wings actually crossing the ball and we might score a few goals!

A proven goalscorer at this level - why would we want someone like that? What is your problem? Everybody knows we are desperate for someone to lead the line and bang a few in and when we're linked with someone who can do that we get a post like this. Of course we want him you moron.
