hallelujah to that. defoe is the worst kind of one trick pony - 'run straight at defender, try and work it onto me right foot and spank it as hard as i can'.
thats all he ever does - his passing is poor, he always has his head down and thinks only about his own shooting - and he is not good enough to be so selfish. his level has been found, and it aint starting XI for a top six side. he is a fair to middling premiership striker.
