The fact that QPR released him before they had all of their money and no other club has shown any interests suggests that the poor reserve game wasnt a one off but the usual performance.

Briatore / Ecclestone took over in August of last year, Cullip was released in November. At the end of last season, John Gregory cited signing Cullip in January as the turning point in our season and one of the biggest factors in us staying up.

But you hadnt started signing players when he left. Had he played many games this season prior to leaving

If DC returns it will cause the BHAlbas a dilemma... We thought our sponsorship of DC had ended his Albion career as he left for Sheffield part way through our tenure... and this season we've taken on OGH in his testimonial (boxing and red cards R us) year to prepare his P45.

I'm all confused about whose stay in at Withdean we should be ruining...

Oi Cullip... we own your shirt!!!!

So Cullip, who left us and had been playing in a HIGHER league to the one we are in now in all that time, is not good enough?

At Sheffield United, he fell out with the manager, it had nothing to do with Warnock not thinking he was good enough to play at that level.

He is 31, so he has at least 5 more seasons left, or if he does a Butters thats then EIGHT!

If people are so worried about looking to the future, then why was Butters offered another year at tthe end of last season?

With El-Abd now suspended, we only have Elphick and Butters, so injury or a red card in the match El-Abd misses will be a distaster unless we get someone in.

He can always sign on non-contract forms and or pay as you play.

Are you his agent or something touting for business?

Oh and Butters got another contract at the end of last season as he had proved himself worthy of one, and he has done exactly what has been asked of him this season regardless of his age.

It cannot be just co-incidence that we haven't gone after DC and neither has any other club despite him reputedly training with Millwall. Had he shown any thing Kenny Jacket would have signed him, if only as some say on here as cover for his first choice central defenders.

Not his agent, just someone who would like to see him back

How do you know if he has not been offered anything? - maybe he wants something nearer to where he and his family live as they are settled in the south

Give up Guy Fawkes, the majority don't want him.

If, as you say he is good enough for us, think of how many clubs that are possibly worse off player wise than us or lower in the leagues that are near enough for him to travel off of the top of my head I would say, Orient, Millwall Gillingham Barnet Dagenham & Redbridge. It is also worth noting that Crawley have just signed a 20 year old central defender on loan, wouldnt it have made sense for both Crawley and DC, in order for him to keep playing and be in the 'shop window', had Steve Evans signed him for Crawley on a short term contract.

He was injured pre-season so started the season on the bench (4 games). He started 5 games and lost his place to Martin Cranie who we had on loan until hie broke his leg. In fairness, Cranie is a class above the rest in defence.

Cullip is one of a large number (at least 8, I think there may be more) deemed surplus to requirements since De Canio was told how much he had to spend in January.
