Boonen out at the start.

I'm glad I dropped him for Cancellara, at the 11th hour.

Boonen out!?

Only just turned pc on, please explain SB. DNS or pulled out of race due to crash withdrawal? It has already started hasn't it?

Cards on the table time gentlemen.

My team: Sagan, Cancellara, Chavanel, Terpstra, Van Avermaet, Thomas, Offredo, Tosatto and Rosseler.

Can't see past a Sagan win today, the flat straight run in with a head wind means it is going to be hard to solo away from the final select group. If Sagan is there he will be the quickest.

Blimey, that's some rotten luck he's having this season. Real shame that, even not on top form he'd have animated this race for sure.

Blimey! Kicking off early this year. Never considered him for my team as he hasn't been in top form this season for various reasons, but you have to feel for Tom Beans he is not having much luck this year.

That said, no Boonen rather plays in to my hands with two alternative OPQs in my team.

Ouch liking the look of that team. Surprised the budget allowed for including G there too.

Here's mine:

Sagan, Cancellara, Chavanel, Haussler, Bozic, Jerome, Gatto, Offredo, Langeveld.

1066 mini(m)s looks pretty handy too:

Sagan, Cancellara, Haussler, Kristoff, Van Avermaet, Offredo, Devolder, Stannard, Eisel. He didn't know Eisel apparently is carrying a bug though.

1066mini (f) finally got her act together and picked a team, but is keeping it secret

Blimey Woody, no expense spared on team presentation there. Very fancy.

Had to sacrifice some highest priced riders to get G in. Rosseler though is the pick of the 3 credit riders this time, with a palmares that includes 1st places in Brabantse Pijl, Fleche Brabanconne and 3 days of de Panne (plus top tens in Gent Wevelgem, Paris-Brussels and a bunch of other Belgian races) he was a bargain.

Plus a cheeky £1 ew on Stybar @ 125-1.

Not a good time for a mechanical for Gatto :( Hopefully he'll get back on ok.

Edit: He's back in already :)

Double edit: Apologies for the pointless chatter, I'll stop now.

Was just about to say the same as Sean.

Not much happened yet, Gatto will cruise onto the group, no probs.

Will Cancellara do his usual one trick pony?

It is gonna kick off in a minute, Paterburg not far off. Quite fancy one of the OPQs shooting off to join Kwiatowski.
