Oh no!

Bloom used the immortal phrase.

“It will be a different team and it may take a little time to gel.”

Poyet is now playing catch-up in rebuilding the squad, having lost both Crofts and Inigo Calderon after the Spanish right-back failed to meet a contract deadline and had his offer withdrawn amid interest from Southampton.

His comments in the paper edition were top drawer. He's genuinly sad to be leaving but is happy the club havn't stood in his way. this is an oppertunity for him and i hope it works out. Good man all around and a good player.

Yep, too good a move for Crofts to turn down.

Why? Colchester were higher than us in the league and wanted to keep him. Poyet has shown already that he is very good at getting the best out of players when others have struggled. Look at the players he has improved since arriving, Navarro, Elphick, El Abd, Crofts etc. If he thinks Prutton is worth signing then I would support him 100% and our style is definitely more suited to a midfielder like Prutton than Colchester's hoofball.

Totally agree. Prutton is a quality player and I am positive Gus would get the best from him. As for the Watford player someone suggested Al Bangura? He is at Blackpool! Possibly a Prem Club at 5pm today. Some people on here really need to start learning somethings about football.

Shame to see him go, but good luck to him, I thought he was great for us last season, and who on here would turn down the chance to triple your wages.

Thanks Crofty and best of luck at Norwich.

I think it was probably JohnJoe O'Toole. Never seemed a realistic target to me, although I dunno where he's ended up.

Maybe, if he does sign then I'll trust Gus. But from what I've seen of him, I'm not that impressed with him. Rather we could get Racon back

Ended up at Colchester.. which i was shocked by when i found out. Either O'toole or Wordsworth (11 goals this season) would be good signings.
