I've just put my Durrington postcode into the crime map on police.uk

The results came back -

26 Violent crime

51 Other

Don't know what I was expecting, but it's given my wife ammunition in her 'I want to move argument'. FFS

Anyone else had a look at theirs?

Sounds bad, but we do have Clapham Junction within our ward, and the Grand nightclub, which I guess account for a large proportion of the crime, though there has been a spate of violent robberies recently. Vehicle crime - no wonder my car insurance has gone up 25% over the past year.

I was living with a friend and her two flatmates, only a spell of two months. Just down the road from Brixton Academy.

I'm not sure how accurate the figures are. Withdean Stadium scores 0 and we have been robbed at least twice this season.
