Interesting that the ex-USA coach Bob Bradley is now the Egyptian coach. I was a bit surprised when he got fired as US coach as he managed to get the US as far in the World cup as Capello got England, at a fraction of the salary.

From what I just read on a football report from Egypt, he has just bagged himself a call-up to the national Egyptian squad.

Fantastic effort by him, if true.

Anyone else seen this?!

Hope it is true, he deserves it :ascarf:
He will look good with a fez on his head:D

I'm pretty sure it was mutual consent as his contract ran out after the tournament. Bob Bradley wanted a new challenge as he fulfilled all he could in USA!

According to wikipedia he was sacked. Bob Bradley - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Following the World Cup, Bradley was linked to vacant managing positions with English clubs Fulham and Aston Villa, before signing a contract extension in August 2010 to remain as the USA coach until the 2014 World Cup.[3] In June 2011, Bradley led the US to the final of the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup, despite a defeat to Panama (then 67th in the FIFA world rankings) in their second match, but an early 2-0 lead was overturned by Mexico, who eventually won 4-2. On July 28, 2011, he was relieved of his duties by the United States Soccer Federation.

So he got them to the equivalent of the final of the Euros and was then sacked? That seems very harsh and boneheaded.
