I suspect that is the effect of the wind chill factor on the element of your temperature guage.

"Global warming" is merely a way for the gov't to get you to pay more taxes and feel good about it cos you're "doing your bit to help the environment".
"Global warming" stops shops giving you plastic bags unless you pay because we don't want nasty plastic bags screwing up our environment unless you pay.
"Global warming" is one great big CON - surely nobody still believes it.

Juan is of course absolutely right, they are completely different things.

They're not completely different, when you are experiencing wind chill your body is suffering from a form of air cooling as the wind blows away your outer thermal boundary.
