What he said was along the lines of I think they have added like an extra 8000 seats or something, meaning there will be about 30000 watching week in week out. Like LamieRobertson said he know the extra seats were there just not sure of how many.

great journalism then - never asked whether he was being transfered despite it being openly speculated in the media?

knew there was a reason I never listent to that crap..........get more accurate info on sport listening to Radio2!

Still for those who listened - at least if it sounded positive that CMS will stay it will have been worth the suffering

It's a shame that the only national radio station dedicated to sport has to be so facile, and has to lean so heavily on call-ins from white van man fuckwits. I used to listen fairly frequently, but it's just become so asinine as to be unlistenable-to. The Moose alone is reason to switch off - is he actually supposed to be a football journalist?

I still listen now and again but cant bare the drivel Ronnie Irani comes out with or Keys and Gray sycophantically massaging each others ego's.

Twats.

I think the only show I can listen to now is the lunchtime thing. They do the stupid themed call-ins still, but occasionally they have some really good stuff on there and they are at least capable of holding a conversation. Yesterday's row with a tabloid journalist about integrity and whether the journos knowingly lie in stories was proper radio. Then Keys and Gray come on. :( Then Adrian 'I'm going to take a position diametrically opposed to yours no matter what you're saying, simply to prompt a reaction from the numbnuts out there who like to call in' Durham.

Collymore still has his moments, at least, but the station is so focused on the top three or four clubs that, should you find yourself in the great swathe of this country's supporters who don't follow one of those, there's basically nothing there for you. Radio 5 Live for me, all the way - a bit twee, and the big club obsession is still there, but at least there isn't the Sky-style hysteria attached to everything.

I know exactly what you mean, I'm considering removing him off twitter all he talks about is West Ham and post rumours seen on The Sun and Football Rumours. The bloke is useless.

As the kids say: This.

Amazing really when there are numerous articulate thinkers posting their thoughts on the net etc, whether you agree with their views or not, that we are only served up rentaquote cliched drivel on the radio (Talksport,) and on the TV (You're On Sky Sports.) Surely there is room for a (for example) James Richardson, Michael Cox, Mike Holden fronted programme somewhere?
