Made me smile today seeing a queue of Spanish students looking at the buy one get one free offer on the club shirts in town. They could hardly speak a word of english but kept repeating "Vicente" excitedly. They bought loads of old programmes with him in, then went on to buy loads of shirts too paying extra to have his name on the back. I wonder how many more they will sell over the summer.

It could be weird with so many wearing Vicente shirts at the Amex

I was at the Amex shop earlier today and someone at the till next to me asked for Vicente's name to be printed on their shirt. The girls serving were not sure if there was an 'n' before the 'c'

I popped into the ticket office today to pick up tickets for the Lewes friendly and was surprised how busy it was in the shop. One of the staff said that since the BOGOF offer had been announced, they couldn't get enough stock out onto the shelves. Apparently when I was in there it was one of the quietest times of the day! Glad to see the club getting so much interest and money in the till.

I may as well admit that, despite being a not-far short of 50 year old accountant, I am getting a Vicente shirt!
Don't worry, you're not alone. However, I'm saving myself for an Owen, Messi or Ronaldo shirt.

I was in there earlier today to make use of the BOGOF, and had to wait at least 20 minutes for my son's shirt to be printed because a good 7 Spanish kids were having their names done. A few interesting "definitely-sounds-like-a-Spanish-superstar" names, I should've got a sneaky pic and thrown another imminent signing into the mix!

I'm surprised the club haven't made a big effort to befriend the vast foreign student population in Brighton - more sales and an increasing reputation around Europe when one year's worth of students goes home and is replaced by a new batch

Or maybe they have and I just don't know about it
