Classless from Abdullah in revealing private and confidential employment/contract discussions with an employee at the time.
Cherry-picking propaganda, we don’t hear the other side.

I'll just continue saying my piece, same as everybody else, until such time as the circle jerk is complete
My knocking is exactly the same as everybody else's knocking is (or should be). Repeated failure to invest in quality up front. Oh, and failure to invest in managers / coaches / whateveryouwanttocallthem with a proven track record. It's cost us - and more importantly TB - in the long run. And the short to medium run also. Oh well

What makes you think ,that a proven top manager is A) available at the time needed B) wanting to come to a relatively small club in the pecking order of the big boys. ?
A tad dreamland I think .
I think it depends how you define ‘failure’. He took them on as a floundering League One side and took them all the way up to the Prem in consecutive seasons, where they had a terrific first season before things went tits up this time around.
In cold, hard financial terms the club has enjoyed well over £100m (possibly closer to £200m?) as a direct result of his work. Is a £4m golden goodbye all that scandalous?
Tho does have a stupidly-long contract courtesy of our Nice-But-Football-Naive chairman. Oh well. His ball, his rules
You've allegedly been a top man in business (before your brain clearly turned to mush ). At what point in your managerial selection process would you narrow that, er, selection down to a shortlist of three, interview all three candidates and then confidently declare:"YUP! Sami Hyypiä's the man for me! Anyone on the selection board that's on my payroll care to disagree? That's unanimous then '
Rinse and repeat for selection of gormless looking bloke off the novelty slot on Football Focus
As we know a good keeper makes all the difference, Henderson was a big part of their success last season. They used to win most of their games by the odd goal because Henderson pulled off save after save.
Not sure I would want him at the Albion to be fair he’s been relegated two seasons running.Ramsdale is a decent keeper though. I think there problem was believing there own hype after one flukey season as well as poor recruitment.

That's ONE bad coach in over a decade, who was out on his arse in months.
Ramsdale is a decent keeper though.

Come on Tommy, you're better than that.

Ramsdale - with two full seasons PL experience behind him, and still younger than our very large Spaniard. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited by the emergence of Big Bob, but I wouldn't write off Ramsdale in such a cavalier fashion as some on here have.He may have promise, but his signing has to be considered as a potential example of the poor recruitment you mention. Sheff Utd sold him to Bournemouth for less than a million a few years back and, after a couple of lower league loans, he played the whole season for Bournemouth last year and they were relegated, conceding the third most goals in the league. Sheff Utd bought him back for over twenty times what they sold him for and are now getting relegated, currently conceding the third most goals in the league.
I know that keepers look good when they have a lot to do, but his is hardly an outstanding record. It was obvious that, at present, he is not capable of making the kind of difference that Henderson did to Sheff Utd's results last year. Very few would be. Henderson was third in the league for save percentages last year and, counting those who have played 5 or more matches, is top this year. Ramsdale was 15th last year and is 14th this year. Decent, perhaps, but not outstanding. If that level of decent is worth a reported £18M+, I wonder what the price of very decent and recently called up by Spain is.

Sheffield United have been descimated by injuries to their key players this season. Their squad is deep with numbers but not with quality and they haven't recruited well enough to have talent coming through the club to cover. What we're looking to do is ensure a constant flow of players so that we're not so exposed by half a dozen first team injuries. But then, saying that - would we have been able to cope with losing White and Dunk at the same time as Webster? Who knows.
