Not me. Curry is for after a night out on the beer.

We're having turducken this year. Made by my husband so I suspect we'll all see the New Year in with food posioning.

What on earth is a turducken?

Sounds like the offspring of a gang raped chicken.

:lolol:

It's a chicken, stuffed inside a duck, then that is stuffed inside a turkey. All de-boned. The turkey juices baste the duck, the duck juices baste the chicken. it's yummy.

Gosh. The turkey seems to get the raw deal in that. Sounds very nice. I will put that idea towards BarrelofFun Seniors.

Sod the turd thingy, I'm more interested to know how you get Mr Starry to be involved in actually MAKING the xmas Lunch, Tanks only involvment is to lurk over my shoulder when I'm cooking and asking is 'there a war on' when he sees the size of the Turkey!!! :lolol:

Surely a duck is smaller than a chicken, so the duck would be easier to stuff in the chicken than the other way around.

Two Christmases ago we had an incident that involved me making the dinner. I *thought* I put the turkey in the oven to roast and we went off for a few hours to open presents and visit with my parents, we came back expecting to have just an hour or so to wait til the turkey was ready. Turns out I didn't actually turn the oven on and we had raw turkey. We ended up with beans on toast and had christmas dinner on boxing day. Since then he's decided it's a mans job to prepare the meat. I do all the veggies and extras!
