who takes all the bones out of the chicken and the duck then?
too much like hard work and it actually sounds 'foul' ;)

My husbands uncle who is a butcher is deboning it all. I think he might be stuffing it all together as well. I'm not really sure. It's my husbands project and I zone out when he starts talking on abou tit.

And Scarface, the chicken is just a small one.

That turducken thingy sounds like a 'recipe' for disaster. surely the bones help to cook the birds through while not needing to cook for so long that the meat is over cooked.

Anyway for me, take away ready cooked whole turkey and spuds with gravey from the local Irish pub/restaurant.

The Mahaan in Worthing used to do a Turkey Curry on Christmas Day, by way of a compromise candidate.

There was a piece on Have I got news for you, where you can pick your turkey via a webcam as they wear little bibs with their names on. Did anyone see it?

Does it work like Honest Benders Free Range Orphanage in Futurama?

Great curry house. Although the idea of trying to watch the Albion at Withers after a Mahaan Turkey Phal on christmas day doesnt fill me with confidence- it's a long walk to the toilets.....

That would apply to the whole row behind you as well.

I've never had turkey at Christmas. Nobody in my family actually likes it. It's not the nicest meat in the world is it.

Instead we just cook up a couple of chickens and a big joint of beef. Everybody's happy.

I wouldn't swap my Christmas day lunch for anything, but I'd certainly choose a curry over roast Turkey
