There's no way that we're going to get many wickets tonight - the wicket's flatter than a witch's tit and Durham aren't exactly hitting out.

I predict Nash and Joyce bowling in tandem by tea tomorrow.

Hard going those last 2 and a half hours watched 1 wicket go down then froze myself of with the bloody wind and a silly nattering girl from worthing Uncle Buck it was your friend !!!!

End of play 169-6 nash 85 not out.

Wickets of goodwin ,wright doing his 20/20 shots. and joyce very poor in getting out,great inns by nash for his 85 not out.

Durham in our book could have won this game leaving it late to declare they were very slow in there scoring in the mornings play and in there late setting of a sussex target .

So in the end a good result for suseex 11 points we get but was getting very nervous at the end untill nash and hodd played it out well to the end.
