Yes I’d noticed too😊. @OfficialOldMan’s point is of course valid though - the date for our 3rd round game will have to be Wed 27 as we play Bournemouth on Sun 24 and have the early game v Villa on Sat 30. That’s exactly the reason why RDZ has been rotating including the keepers because with the first Europa game on Sep 21 we actually have 4 games in 9-10 days!

The actual run will be worse than that.

16th September Man Utd (a)
21st September First Europa League game
24th Septmeber Bournemouth (h)
27th September League Cup 3rd Round
30th September Aston Villa (a)
5th October Second Europa League game
8th October Liverpool (h)

That's 7 games in 23 days (The longest break we get in this run of fixtures is 4 days without a game). Thankfully after the Liverpool game there is an international break (as if that makes much difference).

Apart from former scholar Marcus Dackers helping to knock Leeds out of the competition, two other former Albion players did themselves proud this evening playing for Peterborough. Posh, despite going down to 10 men for the final 30 minutes, edged out Portsmouth on penalties.

Goalkeeper Fynn Talley made his senior (English) debut and David Ajiboye scored Posh's goal and then fired in the winning penalty in the shoot-out.

Is the 3rd round still split north and south? Hoping for an away at a ground not previously visited
