If Falmer is given the green light next week, the club needs to make enquiries into McShane's availability. No ifs and buts. We should be finding out whether there is any way Utd would let him go, and if so, for how much? UB is right about Sidwell. We were on the back foot and were made to look tin pot and desperate as soon as Reading expressed an interest. Let's hope we don't have a repeat of that.

Exactly, time to look forward and build again. It's clear to see that McShane and Hinsh could form our centre back pairing for years to come and we should be looking to secure that now. Buying McShane would be a valid investment into our future and we should be doing all we can to get him playing for our club on a permament basis.
