My favourite club in Germany has always been St Pauli

The ground is right next to the Reeperbahn. So when I was younger and when I went to Hamburg you could go to the match and then have a fab night out in the Reeperbahn.

Happy days 😁 but sadly not in top division at the moment

SC Freiburg for me. Lived and worked there for a summer.

Newmarket.
X marks the house where I lived for 3 years.
So it's VFL Borussia Mönchengladbach for me.

Hertha Berlin wear a nice blue and white striped kit, just above the relegation zone, sounds familiar!

Love Union Berlin's story, had a soft spot well before this all kicked off, and before they reached the top division, through my love of Berlin and its history. So Union for me!

shouldnt there be some sort of NSC collective support, so we can all get deeply elated/enraged by the teams performance?

otherwise im Fortuna Düsseldorf on account of the beer option.

I got FC Augsburg, which is the team I had chosen a few days ago anyway. Rather pleased with that.

The Astral Planes, man...
I guess I should support Schalke as I have one of their scarfs. I was posted to the fatherland in the late 70's and whilst there bought a blue and white scarf, as you do, which a local kindly told me was Schalke.
This thing is indestructible and made of a knitted nylon material, I still wear it today and it is still 'as new' more than 40 years later. 'Vorsprung durch technik' and all that, 'kin Germans!
