The Brits might as well be the Smash Hits awards now. The awards are all voted for by the same demographic as the magazines so obviously they will give the awards to the drones as opposed to the rightful winners.

The fact that neither the Super Furries nor Supergrass were anywhere near these awards, despite their popularity just shows what a joke they have become.

Green Day have changed dramatically since they released Dookie. That album is superb and was the soundtrack to summer 96 for me. Since then they have become, I dunno, watered down. Almost Green Day-lite.
