Leven deal looking unlikely unless he's down here already as we wanted a thorough look at his knee during the medical. Not heard any more on Cox but seems likely Charlton will be back in with a bid after enquiring on his availability last night. I'd guess £500k + add ons would be a fair offer.

I disagree, up front we are undoubtedly stronger with the additions of Murray and Dixon who have much better pedigrees than Revell, Elder or Savage. Imho Thomson will prove to be at the very worst the match of Hammond in the middle and given his experience is likely to be an improvement, and we have the unknown quantity that is McFaul maintain a bit of depth in that position.

Jean-Francois Christophe? One of the few who had a good game against us and scored a pretty good goal I seem to remember, and a flair name. Surely perfect for this club? Although to be fair, any midfielder will do atm
