Malpas not confident of Cox deal
Swindon manager Maurice Malpas expects to miss out on Reading's Simon Cox because of the player's wage demands.
The club have agreed a fee for the 20-year-old striker and say they have made an exceptional offer to him.

"I'm not confident, there's still a fair bit of ground in-between," Malpas told BBC Radio Wiltshire.

"I can see where the player is coming from but unless we can find some common ground Simon will stay with Reading or go elsewhere."

What amazes me is how people here are missing the obvious - Beckham...

We are the answer to his England problem. He should come on loan to March - still train with the Arsenal nancy boys - pop down to Withers on a Saturday - put in a few good crosses for Forster et al - get match fit - puts bums of seats (sellout actually) and end up getting picked for England - 100th cap - Brighton international et voila.....
