Good first half. Dont think there will be any half time subs but will happen pretty early unless we get a lead.

The whole Trossard thing is just weird. He looked a cut above before his injury but has been channeling Elvis Manu since he returned.

The ball to March was nice, mind.

Easily the better side.

Ref is a walking liability.

The "cry in a minute" chant is getting to the crybaby.

Maupay and Propper are playing well.

Schellotto is playing an important part.

Need a goal ASAP.

Trossard need to come off, largely absent for that half. Alzate will create and be a nuisance so get him on early.

Palace setting up very defensively looking for the odd break and a point. Those tactics have defined the game so far as only rarely have we looked creative enough to get past the packed bodies. Maupay looking good but isolated

Bissouma best player on the pitch so far so would hope won't be subbed!

haha very lucky to still be on the pitch if Greyhound got a yellow, as what he did pushing and spitting are both red card offenses. Nasty studs up challenge by Ayew earlier too. Only one booked (Benteke) seemed the least serious of the 3.

Been o.k s far. We've looked relatively stable in defense but apart from one or two moments we've really not clicked going forward. Palace have had as many presentable chances as we have which is a worry when we've been dominating possession and under no serious threat. There will be at least one period in the second half where they get on top and put us under pressure. History this season suggests we'll concede so we really need to get into gear going forward.

It'll be interesting to see if Potter changes formation or players. If the latter I'd be tempted with swapping Alzate for Mooy who's been off the pace so far.

Edited to say Zaha really is a monumental bellend isn't he? Please, please don't let him score:down:

Totally agree, and not just with the edit!

Now they've shown the Schelletto incident from the south end, it was absolutely nothing. Yes - he knocked the ball towards Zaha, but there was no pace in it - not really like booting the ball at him. Harsh booking.
