Spoke to a sports fitness guru yesterday and he reckons one reason for all the hamstring injuries COULD be that we have had the mildest and wettest winter in years, so players are training on VERY soft pitches/grounds which drags at their muscles (bit like walking on a soft shingle beach) and then a hard pitch pulls the muscles further... anyway that's what he reckons

If JFC is another soft tissue injury some scrutiny needs to be put upon whoever is the conditioning coach.
Most of the injuries seem to be at The Amex , the pitch needs attention.

what were the injuries? anything bad?

CMS injury is to the face/eye, apparently looked like he'd been in a one sided boxing match, badly swollen - still no foul !!!!!!!!!!!
Not sure about JFC

HT leading 1-0.

Pleasing, hope CMS and JFC are alright.

The training pitch is regular grass but at The Amex it is part synthetic and a slightly different playing surface plus the fact the sprinklers are always used pre match.
