Brighton v West Ham
The Hammers' only away league win over Brighton was their first visit in October 1978, when they prevailed 2-1 in the old Second Division.
This was a defining match (or so we thought) on 28 October 2008 before a crowd of 32,634 and we fell to twelfth place. But in the final reckoning, we got promoted in second place and West Ham were 6 pts (2 for a win) behind in fifth place, without the play-offs. The points total of 56 pts has the equivalent of 79 this season.
Winning he home games is the trick, and this means 4-3-3. And on the current form this means Matt Sparrow or the new player.
