New signing Chris Birchall starts in midfield for Albion as they aim to make it two in a row today.

But top scorer Glenn Murray is only on the bench as Leeds United visit in League One.

Murray has missed training this week due to a stomach strain.

Albion won 2-0 at Swindon in their last outing almost three weeks ago but have lost Matt Richards and Bradley Johnson since then.

Andrew Whing is expected to play at left back wth Adam Virgo on the right of defence.

Leeds field their three new boys Lee Trundle, Richard Naylor and Carl Dickinson.

But there is no place in the 16 for Jermine Beckford, who has been struggling with injury of late.

To be honest, on paper that side looks ok except for the centre of midfield, add Lynch to the back four and you have a team most managers in this league would be happy with!
