Absolutely, having taken Macclesfield to a position where they were 7 points adrift of the rest of Division 2 after 10 games, he is the right man to take us back to the glory days of 1996.

Neither here nor there
Why is it a top idea?

He left for Port Vale (a "bigger" club that he cared about more). He also wanted to be nearer his family.

Ignoring the fact that he isn't a great manager, those two details remain constant. So why him and not, say, Frank Clark?

Yes with Horton involved I can see we could do much worse than we are. After all everything is going so well.

Giraffe are you 'aving a giraffe?

If Dick Knight were to even think about bringing Horton back to the club I would suggest we had him sectioned under the mental health act.

I seem to remember you harping on about what good he had done for us as manager once?

But anyway, upon reflection there are better men out there.

Although frankly the only conversation orth having is about Dick Knight. We could have Alex Ferguson and that Chelski bloke in charge and with no investment in the team we'd be in the same place.
