PS we left in January:dunce:

I’m well aware we “left” in January. What gave you the impression I wasn’t aware of that and issue one of your spare Dunce hats?

Made a bit of a fool of yourself again.

Britain has a long, rich history of not backing it’s citizens.

As do most countries. Just like any "investment" past performance is no guarantee of future results especially when confounded by unexpected events. The tories seem as competent as the German CDU/SPD government at the moment (e.g. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/apr/27/german-doctors-pose-naked-in-protest-at-ppe-shortages). Maybe Mr Boots is on to something? If you want to be in control of something you have to be able to control it.

Absolutely...well, unless you’re on Reuter’s worker on holiday in Israel, or a victim of fatal car accident outside a U.K. army base, or live in a care home etc

Britain has a long, rich history of not backing it’s citizens. Always worse when there’s a Tory government, worse still since we cut loose from the EU.

Why do you two bother to stay here?

Maybe now is the time to jump off Britains love bus.

Aviation crumbling is a massive blow for Brexit.

Never fear, I expect Boris and Trump are already working on a bridge we can build to the States. Probably awarded to Trump Construction Inc.

So you have NO right to comment on our country.

You do realise the Isle of Wight is British, don't you?

You’ve misunderstood your relationship with other members on here. You don’t get to tell people what to do.

Anyway, this is a tired old argument fuelled by bigots and numbskulls, such as yourself.

I was right to stay away .

Enjoy .

You don't pay much attention, do you.

Go on.....

You've misunderstood your relationship with other members on here. You don't get to tell people what to do.

I treat people with respect if it is reciprocated, if they are just an arse, I treat them like one.

I think that's entirely fair.

I have not been on this thread since the Brexit was passed, but got called in by HT.

There were way too many posters on here who could not accept the decision, which is sad in itself, so I left them to grieve.

There are Brexiteers on this thread who live in other countries. Some in other Continents. When I see a Brexiteer offer the same advice to one of them, I wont think they are a stupid, hypocritical ****.

One would hope it's a wake up call that resounds a lot further than Bozza , Sussex and indeed Europe........what could be more racist than releasing a killer virus across the globe ..?? wakey ****ing wakey boys......this is a warning shot.

This is a genuine question, not trying to start a fight, are you saying this virus was released on purpose?

there are a few of this kind around I'm afraid......it's the same as blaming boris for the covid outbreak , i got involved in a
heated discussion on a fb page over the weekend on a brighton based page which turned out to be a creche for the cities lgtbq labour supporters binfest....blaming boris for running the country down to a point where the nhs can't handle this outbreak , well i'm afraid a few home truths ended up with the pitch forks coming out ........unbelievable small mindedness from what is supposed to be an enlightened , liberal bunch of people .
As in all things there are two sides to every story. I witnessed online a FB group administrator start a thread hailing the return of Johnson to no10, quickly two or three people chipped in with " Here here" and " Thank goodness.." Followed by 4 heart emoji's... Some posted something only slightly negative like " About time too..," and then another very slightly critical post went up and the original poster, the administrator said " I did not post this up for Boris to be insulted, I'm turning off commenting on this post"....

I think the group was " Bygone Worthing" or Worthing : Past and Present or similar. So, a totally non political group, yet an admin started a political post, then blocked commenting when others expressed a differing view which they disagreed with. So, small mindedness exists in many forms.

The arse end of Hangleton
No, you take a long hard look at yourself you total prick.
This is on the Brexit thread, where it should be, I have not mentioned Brexit on any other thread, certainly not a Coronavirus one.
Over the past few days people who have stood up in the media and taken the government to task over their handling of the crisis, as they have every right to do, have been pelted on social media from leavers with vile abuse saying that they have an agenda against the government because of Brexit.
I'm no fan of Piers Morgan but he came out after the vote as a remainder but accepts it and it's time to move on, but he and doctors and others are being subjected to abuse from leavers.
These people won the vote, they should be happy but still they can't let it go for some strange unfathomable reason.
So don't go round telling me what I should and shouldn't be doing on the relevant thread, having seen the abuse to these people on social media they aren't just thickos but sickos and clearly you are one of them.
Now fuk off.

The be kind thread has somewhat passed you by I see.

Being such a snowflake HT, you would thrive in the sleet of Scarborough.

You know it makes sense, back Britain as you know it has your back.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...imes-more-rescue-flights-for-citizens-than-uk

Highlights in the article for you....

"The German government has taken the lead role in the biggest repatriation effort in peacetime, chartering 30 times more rescue flights than the UK and flying home more than 40,000 travellers from across the world, according to figures obtained by the Guardian.
As British tourists waited for details on Dominic Raab’s £75m rescue mission, the German embassy in London revealed it had now repatriated 42,000 German nationals from 60 countries on 160 charter flights over the past two weeks."

"The scale of the rescue task emerged as one of the charter companies hired by the German government said it had offered assistance to the UK but that the Foreign Office had not returned its calls.
Air Charter Service, which helped organise flights following the collapse of Thomas Cook and Monarch airlines, told the Guardian that it had been hired by France, the Netherlands, the US and Germany in the past nine days but had not had any contact from the UK."

"In India, where commercial flights have been grounded for at least a week, dozens of Britons are believed to be among more than 2,100 travellers rescued by the German embassy using specially chartered aircraft.
Chris Linford, 56, a cafe owner from Derbyshire, said he and his family were among a group of about 40 British tourists on a German flight from Delhi to Frankfurt on Friday. On Tuesday, he praised the German government for their “unbelievable” repatriation effort and accused the UK of being missing in action.
“You can’t get through to anyone at the British embassy in Delhi – we spent about £120 trying to get through to them and the last we heard was ‘be patient’,” he said.
The UK, in contrast, has rescued just 1,400 British nationals from Wuhan and Peru on charter flights, including the passengers on two British Airways planes that landed at Gatwick airport on Tuesday.
An estimated 300,000 Britons are thought to be stranded around the world as countries closed borders and grounded commercial flights in an effort to tackle the coronavirus pandemic."

"Linford said he and his family were told to wait at the German ambassador’s residence in Delhi on Friday, where they were provided with food and water before being escorted under armed guard in 12 coaches to the airport. The 1,000 passengers – most of whom were German nationals, with about 250 other EU citizens – then boarded a Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt.
Linford said they were not charged for the flight as German officials said they would seek to recoup the air fare from the UK government. “Everybody was thankful of the Germans,” he said.
“It’s only us that aren’t repatriating people. We’re just incompetent. We were the only nationality left at our hostel – every other country had been flown home,” he added. "

Makes you proud to be a European eh Mouldy ?
