Agree with those saying Barnes was one of our best players when he came on last night. Always available and wanting the ball, then moved it on well linking midfield to attack, on par with Lopez and LuaLua IMO.
Also not sure about the booing for Barnes but what frustrated and angered me the most was the fans getting impatient before the first millwall goal. We were keeping possession of the ball, waiting for the opening, which to be fair was taking a while. However a small proportion of the audience thought it'd be a good idea to hurry the players up and shout abuse/boo at them till they hoofed it. So when it came back to a player on East Stand side of halfway line (think it was el-abd or greer) they were pressurised to boot it upfield. Went up toward CMS, who was obviously beaten by Shittu in the air. Millwall won possession of the loose ball and went up the other end and scored. I have distinct memory of an albion player making a mistake between the header, and Wood putting the ball past Kuzsczak, yet this wouldn't of happened if we'd kept possession of the ball, been a bit more patient and waited for the opening. Ever heard of us having the ball and the opposition can't score? Not sure if anyone can watch the play before the first goal on seagulls player or something, and do you get to hear the crowd noise easily??
