queing up for FA cup final replay tickets... i joined it south of the railway tunnel near to the goldstone, it went straight up the road to shoreham road then behind the northstand and down to the ticket office and was prob three deep .
Queue was to Sackville Road when the home match against Rochdale kicked off in 1971.
It was 1972.
Well, 1971 when he joined it to be fair.
Actually I was baffled more by 'What are the biggest queue you have been (or seen) for an Albion game.'you'll post yours later? what are you on about?
This was 1976-7, WBA was away. Derby was the tightest Goldstone crowd I was ever in (even on the West Terrace North). The tickets for the match were sold at a reserve match with Charlton; I remember The Daily Telegraph reporting the attendance as some 18,000.League Cup Tickets back in the 70's WBA or Derby, can't remember!
