I think Andrew Hawes is very good indeed - even if he was ABSOLUTELY PETRIFIED of Mickey Adams. You could hear his knees knocking whenever he had to ask a difficult question after the match!!!!

Millard for me too. With him even the most mundane Brighton games sound like World Cup finals - and he's sorely missed as a matchday announcer!

Sad fact - I sometimes watch speedway on Sky Sports just to hear him!

Peter Brackley is a class commentator and after dinner speaker.

He was a pretty good Table Tennis player as well. I used to play against him in the Brighton league back in the late 60's early 70's, although he was only a Radio Brighton teaboy then.
