Can I vote for the bloke from Haywards Heath on the phone-in last season who dropped the phone when his dog jumped up and bit him in the bolleaux? :lolol: :lolol:

Jim Proudfoot as Jonathan Pearce's lovechild was probably the best albion radio moment but Tony Millard was the overall best for me. As Soton says, it conjures up images of strolling towards The Goldstone buying a lovely Westlers Hotdog, into The North Stand, past the pile of confiscated DMs, the smell of a years worth of piss wafting from the back

Absolutely marvellous

Hawesey has become required listening for me (when I'm not at a game) in a way that none of his predecessors have been.

Absolute top dollar. Hope he stays with us for many years to come (unless he picks up a plum job at 5 live or on telly).

Hawesy's whisper can't compete with Millard's rasp.
I too watch the speedway & Millard's enthusiasm is still infectious.
As for John Byrne as a sidekick...great player, limp voice.
