Another vote for Nizam in HH or Hurstpierpoint.

Can't speak for the Blue India in HH, but I've been to the Crawley one before and that was good. Bit more expensive than Nizam though.

Hmmm, all this curry talk is making me hungry...

Indian Cottage in Shoreham takes some beating.

Went there t'other week for somebody's birthday meal. The food is indeed grand, tho the many low beams and unexpected changes in floor level of this olde building present, with drink taken, a clear health and safety issue to the unwary diner.

Raj Dhut in Hailsham - top curry, good price, nice people. And we got a Christmas card from them!

Falmer, soon...
Masala Gate, St Pancras, Chichester takes some beating, although probably the most expensive Indian Restaurant in Sussex.

Haven't been for a curry in Sussex for a fair while, but in Central London.

The Raj in Farringdon is better than anything in Brick Lane.

In North London, for traditional curry Massam in New Barnet is top notch.

For East Indian, Cochin in East Finchley is very decent (love the fish curries)

Anyone know the Jaaflong in Ferring. Truly the worst curry ever.

Im so pleased youve told me that as i was due to go with friends to the Tudor Close and then to that establishment. It was cancelled due to his daughter being poorly. They said it was one of those places that you bring your own drinks as it has no licence!
ill be the one making the excuses when he gives another date !

Chaula's in Lewes, as already mentioned.

Home cooked, traditional south India. Vege especially good. Really nice people who run St Pancras stores in Southover also. They do a great lunchtime buffet as much as you can eat if you are in Lewes for the day. It's in the old building outside Waitrose, right by the bus station.
