Can't believe that nearly 90 minutes has passed since the final whistle and still no one has posted the pic of Fergie in the exploding Noddy car that's heading out of Europe. Poor show, NSC.

AJAX get overtaken by Lyon on Goal Difference (if it is goal difference that counts when the team are level).

Both games between Ajax and Lyon were 0-0 so it was goal difference that counts.

At the start of the day Ajax were +3 and Lyon -4. Enquiry ?

Why would UEFA, who are headed up by a Frenchman, open an enquiry into a French side progressing in the CL?

Honestly don't think the Premier League is the best league in the world now, it may be the most competitive but other leagues have a much better standard

Nah. The Championship is probably the most competitive league in the world (and something like 4th or 5th most watched too). You have upwards of 15 or 16 sides all similar sizes and abilities and probably the toughest to call who ill go up and who will go down - even now look at the likes of Palace - nearly halfway through the season and they are 6 points from play off and 7 from relegation zone. That's competitive.

Competitive, you must be joking, about the only thing competitive about that closed shop, is who's fourth worst. Triffic.

We're very fortunate to be watching our footie in the most competitive league.

This not necessarily a serious comment. It was the most extraordinary result and upset, bar none. Lyon did not even field their top side as they appear to think they were already out.
