With JFC, Dickenson, Maksimenko, Asmundsson, March, Agdestein etc, our development squad is looking very promising. Let's hope we manage to bring the majority of those into the first team regularly in the next few years.

It's as if our club has been subject to a real-life game of Football Manager: small, skint club gets Premier League legend as manager, promotion, a new stadium, new youth facilities, exciting new youth players from abroad, big money foreign signings, big money domestic signings, signing former £30 million players, former England internationals and players with Champs League experience, the press conference outbursts, the completely unrealistic jump in attendances, the intricate football, the complicated tactical maneuveurs, beating and holding our own against big Premier League sides and having a United Nations team. All this stupidly exciting stuff is NOT meant to happen in real football!

Bloody brilliant I tell thee.
