Not giving him grief at all, just thought he didn't play well enough for the MOTM award. Probably was a bit too harsh by saying mediocre, though we could easily have been one down early on when he lost the ball.

Played the ball through to Barnes for the second (not technically an assist but a defence splitting pass of a high standard)
Played the through ball for Murray on the third

The movement from BArnes today was sublime , they had absolutely no idea how to cope with him. Dicker did misplace a couple of passes but he was as the centre of everything creative. Benno solid but not a great game by his standards. Murray ran his socks off but I agree with Gus in that Barnes was best attacking player by far.Shame we couldnt keep a clean sheet but we killed the game off well and didnt have that embarassing 30 mins like we did against Colchester(?) .

Totally agree with your assessment, and hope we remember to keep foot on gas when competition gets tougher, its the close home games that worry me, but thats because I want 100 points...
