I personally had no problems but one bloke (a seagull fan) in the front of goal at the bottom of the South Stand was chucked out!!

I got the impression the idiot of a steward tried to get us to sit down, winding a lot of people up in the process, he decided to chuck the bloke out!!

Tosser!!

I thought the stewards were fine, they asked us to sit down once but didn't really seem that bothered and once we scored they gave up.

Agreed, majority were great, this one though was a complete DICK!!

He was going up and down the bottom of the south stand behind the goal attempting to get the lower tier to SIT!

Because we wouldn't (I assume) he picked someone out proceeded to chuck him out!!

I was in the west and they chucked somebody out before half time for standing up but my mate said they let him back in for the 2nd half.

They gave up after Chippys goal - very wise

Bloke who got chucked out actually got escorted next to me as this was his correct seat, the arguement continued and the steward (coloured chap no 88) actually said "we're premier league this is how things work" when referring to sitting policies. Didn't bother me but rowed quite a few people up as he was pretty arrogant

I was in row 6 by the goal......

Some bloke was escorted out as he appeared to be standing with his mates which if we sat down he would not have had a seat...

The bloke who was the supervisor, in the suit, had a go to get everyone to sit down but everyone ignored him.

Be interesting if we are penalised for this as was West ham.

They seemed to act with sense - Withdean take note

Typical spurs supporter response me thinks. The tosser near us in the west stand threw someone out for standing. At half time he was giving it the ol' "this is what its like when you get to the preniershit. Can't you people enjoy yourselves sitting down then." At which point he was berated with "this is what its like when you have passionate supporters who want to get behind their team" The Muppet gave up after Chippy scored.

So glad we are not a league above. Its soulless up there.

At least i go there. I know it is an empty shell. I have a feeling that could be a good reason for getting a new stadium. What do you think?

back row behind the goal

I was about 4 rows from the back with my 10 year old son.

Steward no 88 was a complete tosser and he tried to get the police to throw me out at half time for being abusive towards him.

He seemed to forget the names he called me!!!!!!

Well I go there as well. You say White Hart Lane or the Premiership is "soulless" but presumably what we all want is to have a stadium like the one on Saturday (with better toilet facilites though of course).

Yes but with people who get behind their team and want to have a good time. The prawn sarnie brigade looked completely bored with the whole thing.

I think Spurs are a club who are content with mediocrity and it showed on Saturday. We have more passion because the club has been through so much.

As for the bogs...they were still better than the Walkers Stadium!

Isnt it a case of away fans always make loads of noise because we are together and as its a day out for us and so one or 2 of us have had a glass of shandy beforehand.

At withdean I normally go straight to the ground and do not sit with all my mates so am less noisey.

Plus Spurs fans were probably not as excited about this tie as they would be if they had got Arsenal or Chelsea. I bet they make a noise for what they perceive as their bigger games
