I think they will struggle to finish top four personally unless they spend shed loads in the window. Even with the injuries excuse there isn't enough depth to sustain a title challenge. Kalou looked like the biggest parody of a forward i've seen since Ali Dia last night.

Chelsea sold Deco, Ballack, Belletti and Carvalho and replaced them with Ramires. They need to buy a few players in January, they have enough talent in the first team to finish in top 4 but the replacements are not good enough for when the injuries happen.
