A striker who knows where to run and who is a clinical finisher is something different. Last season we had CMS who ran around allot but didn't make the right clinical runs to finish off our moves. Lumping up to the big fella up front is not effective, just ask England fans.

£1 million for a CONFERENCE player is crazy. Yeh he has a good record, but that is in the conference, not the championship! And at 25 he is hardly an aspiring star. Strikes me as leicester having a bit more money than sense as it is a massive gamble...

Indeed. Chris Holroyd looked a very good striker in the Conference. He was worth a "gamble" at teh price we paid, but £1m, blimey, that just smacks of desperation, and too much money.

And CMS looks good in League 1, but always fails at Championship level.

What about Sam Baldock? Now that WHU are up he's probably not in their plans and he didn't get much opportunity this year with all their strikers. But he looked very good in League One and might be worth a go?
